DIAGNOSTIC GYNECOLOGIC PROCEDURES OFFERED
A basic physical exam of the reproductive organs: speculum insertion to visualize the vagina & cervix, plus bimanual palpation of uterus/ovaries for size, tenderness, masses.
Sampling of cervical cells to screen for cervical dysplasia/cancer.
In the setting of an abnormal Pap/HPV result: use of a colposcope to magnify and inspect the cervix, vagina, vulva, with directed biopsies as needed.
Taking tissue from the cervix or endocervical canal (with ECC) for histopathology when abnormalities are suspected.
Sampling the uterine lining (endometrium) to evaluate for hyperplasia, cancer, or abnormal bleeding.
Imaging of uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries for evaluation of cysts, fibroids, masses, or structural anomalies.
One of the most effective tools for early detection of breast cancer and other abnormalities, often identifying issues before they can be felt on examination.
Specimen collection (urine, swabs, cultures, PCR) for UTI, bacterial vaginosis, trichomoniasis, yeast, or STI.
Urine or serum pregnancy testing.
While we do not provide obstetric services, we work in direct collaboration with local obstetricians and gynecologic surgeons to ensure seamless referrals and continuity of care for every patient we serve.
